Veronica Mae (Monok) Cerralvo April 29, 1939-July 21, 2014

Veronica Mae (Monok) Cerralvo, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away on Monday, July 21, surrounded by her loved ones.  Born on April 29, 1939, to Stephen F and Veronica M (Ontko) Monok, “Verna Mae” enjoyed an idyllic childhood in the beautiful lakeside town of Marblehead, where she lived until she began her studies at Cleveland State University. It was there that she met her husband, Frank J Cerralvo.  Following their courtship and marriage, Veronica and Frank settled in Lakewood, where they had their first child. With strong faith and a deep love for one another, Veronica and Frank enjoyed countless good times, and were each other’s comfort and strength through the bad, including the unexpected passing of their second child, Douglas James, in 1963. Over the years, Frank and Veronica added three more children to their family, raising them in Ohio, and then in Texas, where they all live to this day.
