Agnes May Smith, 78, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thursday, May 1, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, surrounded by her loving family.  Agnes was born on July 18, 1935 in Castalia, OH, the daughter of John and Lucille (Burgraff)  Strouse Sr.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 5, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton.  Funeral service will be conducted by Father Timothy Ferris at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.  Memorial donations in memory of Agnes may be given to the family.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.

Beverly Ann Carr May 15, 1945-Apr. 30, 2014

Beverly Ann Carr, 68, of Marblehead, died Wednesday, April 30, at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton.  She was born May 15, 1945 in Coburn, VA the daughter Edna (Harvey) Meade. She married Samuel Carr on May 29, 1964 and he survives.

Pauline S. Deming Feb. 10, 1927-Jan. 1, 2014

Pauline S. Deming, 86, of Port Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, January 1, at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton.  Pauline was born on February 10, 1927 in Pound, VA, the daughter of Olonzo and Ottlid (Countiss) Shortt.  She worked as a laborer for the U.S. Gypsum Co. until her retirement.  Pauline was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.  She was a hard worker and was dedicated to her daughter. Pauline will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Survivors include: Daughter: Barbara Deming of Port Clinton; Sisters: Janet Davenport of Jackson, MI, and Joyce Bolling of Georgia.  Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Bernard Shortt, Kenneth Shortt & Daniel Lee Shortt and sister: Willie Ann Boggs.

Jack C. Tibbels Oct. 4, 1937-Apr. 23, 2014

Jack C. Tibbels, 76, of Marblehead, died Wednesday, April 23, at his residence.  He was born Oct. 4, 1937 in Toledo, the son of Clifford and Lois (Hill) Tibbels.  He married Kay Baum on April 26, 1963 and she survives.  Mr. Tibbels was a graduate of Danbury High School and Miami University of Ohio where he excelled playing football.  He also played semi-pro football for the Toledo Tornadoes.  He was the owner/operator of Tibbels Marina & Charter Service in Marblehead.  He was also an iron worker for Local 55 of Toledo.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Danbury and he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife: Kay; sons: Guy C. (Rosemary) Tibbels of Marblehead, John (Andrea) Tibbels of Marblehead; daughter: Jackie (James) Grosswiler of Marblehead; grandchildren: Tug Tibbels, Annie Tibbels, Justin Tibbels, Will Tibbels, Devon Grosswiler;  brother-in-law: Robert Mannisto of Manhattan, MT; sister-in-law: Carolyn (Carl) Schweibert of Holland, MI; cousins: Pat (Judy) Hill of Auburn Hills, MI, Nance Gardner of Pompano Beach, FL, and many  nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt and uncle: Elizabeth and Guy Tibbels and sister: Jill Mannisto.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Martha (Marti) M. Gibson, a long and involved resident of Cincinnati, died peacefully April 15, at Providence Care Center in Sandusky. Born July 12, 1916 in Woodsfield, OH to Joe T. and Elsie Floyd Gibson, she would have been 98 years old in July.

Charlotte Lynn Galliher, 53, of Oak Harbor, passed peacefully April 22. Char was born June 11, 1960 in Fremont, to John and Helen Mae Timmons. She is survived by her husband, David Galliher, whom she married on May 18, 1985.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Friday, April 25, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor.  The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home 11 a.m., Saturday, April 26, with Rev.
