Robert E. Dewey, 79, of Marblehead, died Saturday, June 9, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St., Marblehead, from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel J. Ring officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors being given by members of VFW Post 7572, Marblehead.

July 17, 1923 — June 5, 2012
Karl E. Bednarik, 88, of Genoa, passed away surrounded by his family June 5 in St. Vincent Hospital.
Visitation will be 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home in Oak Harbor. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 11at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, beginning with prayers offered at the funeral home at 10 a.m.  Interment at Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor will follow.

March 14, 1928 — May 30, 2012
Rose Marie Dosztal, 84, passed away on May 30, due to complications from pneumonia.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Neidecker-LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home in Port Clinton. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.

Feb. 18, 1954 — May 23, 2012
Dr. Thomas J. Overberg, 58, of Port Clinton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 23, at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton.
Per Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, from 9 a.m. until a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St., Marblehead, with the Rev. Daniel J. Ring officiating. The Neidecker, LeVeck  & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, assisted the family with arrangements.

April 21, 1918 — May 27, 2012
Eleanor Eddings, 94, of Vineyards on Catawba, died Sunday, May 27, at Otterbein Northshore Retirement Village. She was born April 21, 1918, in Logan County, Ky., the daughter of Thomas H. and Mona (Francis) Thurmond.  She married Theodore Ernest Eddings on Oct. 11, 1941, and he preceded her in death on Sunday, May 29, 1994. Mrs. Eddings previously was the dietician for the Beavercreek Schools. She was a member of Firelands Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton.
