Herbert H. Lueke, 95, of Port Clinton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. On his last day, when daughter Pat asked if he was scared, Herb said, “There is nothing to be afraid of.”

Herb was born July 23, 1918, in Woodville, the son of Frederick J. and Rica (Finn) Lueke.  On July 28, 1945, in Edmonton, Canada, Herb married Margery A.
