Daniel J. Bridgeman, 61, a resident of the Anne Grady Center in Holland, Ohio died peacefully Monday, March 18, surrounded by his loving family and caregivers.
Daniel was born with physical and developmental disabilities that prevented him from walking or attending school. However, he lived fully and was able to enjoy cross-country train trips with his family, visits with relatives, music, swimming and frequent outings.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Bruce and Martha Bridgeman of Port Clinton, and brothers Thomas of Ottawa Hills, and Paul of Scottsdale, AZ. His sister, Rebecca, preceded him in death.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of the Anne Grady Center and Eber Home, where Daniel resided for 31 years. “We all loved Danny. He felt like my son too,” said Mary Haskins, coordinator for Eber Home.
