Fernando B. Lucero, 57, of Port Clinton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, surrounded by his loving family. Fernando was born on Feb. 19, 1955, in Tijuana, the son of Fernando C. and Amelia (Barajas) Lucero.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21, at The Church of Truth Ministries, 745 S. Lake Rd., Gypsum, with visitation one hour prior from 10-11 a.m. Military honors will be provided by the Marines Forever, Marine Corps group, Sandusky. Claudia J Hand, 26, of Sandusky, is to be married to Bret W Haggy, 40, of Cleveland on Sept. 20, at Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton. Both are graduates of Bowling Green State University. Mr. Haggy is Vice President for Huntington Insurance and Ms. Hand is a Registered Representative for Western Southern Financial.

Mary E. Gillespie, 87, of Oak Harbor, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, at the Toledo Hospital, Toledo. She was born on August 16, 1925 to Patrick and Carrie (Weber) Gillespie.

Viola E. Moffitt, 90, of Oak Harbor, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on Jan. 19, 1922, in Findlay, the daughter of Orville and Lois (Baker) Thompson.

Dale Trent, 79, of Port Clinton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born on March 13, 1933. in Saylersville, KY, the son of John and Rora (Saylor) Trent.
