ICS gets new principal for a day

Mr. Benjamin Cadigan reported for duty on Wednesday, March 20, wide-eyed and ready to take charge.  Ben was “Principal for a Day” at Immaculate Conception School.  The third grader took the place of I.C.S. Principal Connie Snyder for just one day. Ben wasted no time at all making a few small changes to the normal school day at I.C.S. First and foremost, everyone was permitted to give the school uniform a rest for the day and wear their jeans to school. Secondly, in the morning all of the classes had time in the gym to do an obstacle course designed by Ben, to play board games and popular playground games. Recess was fifteen minutes longer on Wednesday as well. Ben also helped, with Mrs. Snyder’s guidance, with many office tasks.
