Mrs. Danielle Linja’s third graders at I.C.S. have found themselves looking deep into the earth’s surfaces in their geology lessons this week. The class has studied the earth and its layers as well as different types of rocks and how they formed.
The Port Clinton Academic Boosters will induct a new member into the Port Clinton High School Alumni Hall of Fame on Wednesday, May 1. Port Clinton High School alumnus Herbert L.Misch, PCHS Class of 1936, will be inducted posthumously. His induction will forever link the famous Ford Mustang with Port Clinton High School. Mr. Misch was the Vice President of Engineering in 1963 and had a role in developing the Mustang I.
On Tuesday the base of the Port Clinton lighthouse was moved for the first time in 60 years. It was relocated to a more concrete location at Brand’s Marina to help facilitate repairs.
