Service men and women pay respects to fallen comrade

Two North Central EMS workers look on from the Fulton Street bridge as the procession to bring Private James A. Dickman to rest passed through Port Clinton. Between Toledo and Sandusky, overpasses were filled with service trucks, police, fire and EMS workers paying respects to a fallen serviceman. The line of serviceman, mourners, family and friends were on their way to the Chapel in Sandusky where Private James A. Dickman’s funeral service will be held. The procession made one detour and that was to pass Dickman’s former fire house at the Perkins Fire Department.
