Artists, vendors invited to participate in Port Clinton’s first Christkindl Markt

Artists, artisans, musicians and food vendors are wanted for Port Clinton’s first Christkindl Markt, an open-air Christmas Market based on German traditions. The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council presents the Christkindl Markt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in historic downtown Port Clinton.

As in the custom when the Christmas Market is celebrated in Germany, artists and artisans will offer their works for sale in individually decorated stalls in the US Bank parking lot on 2nd Street. Arts, crafts, holiday gifts, delicious food, yummy treats, warm beverages and entertainers playing holiday music – all will be available at the market.
