ICS announces Art Show winners

The Art Show at Immaculate Conception School in Port Clinton last weekend was a testament to the talent and creativity of the students at ICS. There were realistic pieces, sculptures, pottery pieces, weavings, and much more. Anyone who took the time to browse the art was amazed by the unique projects and the ability of the students. The art was judged last Friday by an outside artist and ribbons were awarded for first, second and third place. Several other pieces received “art achievement” ribbons for outstanding effort. Many pieces from the show will be sent to the Ottawa County Fair to be displayed and judged this summer. The show was organized by art teacher Joni Hoffman.
