Tickets on sale for Sunset Cruise

Tickets are now on sale for the July 10 Sunset Cruise on the Jet Express.   The sightseeing cruise will depart Port Clinton at 7:30 p.m. and cruise past the Catawba shoreline, Marblehead and the historic lighthouse, then continue on past Kelleys, Rattlesnake, Sugar, Green and the Bass Islands before the sunset on the way back into Port Clinton.  The cruise will be traveling at high speed to reach the different points of interest and then slow down to enjoy the sights.

Signature hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar with top-shelf cocktails and wine will be featured.  The cost is $40 per person or $70 per couple.  This truly unique cruise is sponsored by the Jet Express and benefits the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.  Rain date is scheduled for Thursday, July 17.

PCHS and Ida Rupp Public Library win teen video challenge

Sixth Edition performing at Firelands

The Musical Arts Series at Firelands will hold its last concert of the season, presenting Sixth Edition on Saturday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Firelands Presbyterian Church, 2626 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton.  The performance will be highlighted by memorable jazz favorites in a close blend of vocal and instrumental harmonies. This concert is sponsored by the Frederick Agency and Miller Ferries to Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island. The concert will be followed by a reception to meet the performers, sponsored by the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council.  Tickets will be available at the door. Student admission is free.
