Friday, Sept. 28, was going to be a very special day for the Port Clinton City School District and now, it is going to be outstanding!
That night The Ohio State Marching Band will perform at the Redskins football game, thanks to a request submitted by the Ohio State Alumni Club of Ottawa County. According to Mike Snider and Mike Libben, co-presidents of the club, the band will stop in PC on its way to East Lansing for the Michigan State-OSU game.
Libben, an OSUMB Alum, said it’s a tremendous honor to have the band in our area.
“We are very excited that TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land) choose to return to Ottawa County again this year,” he said. “It’s the third visit in six years. That frequency of visits in one area doesn’t happen unless we as a community are doing something right to make their trip worthwhile.”
