Magruder Hospital Auxiliary to host breakfast

On Monday, Dec. 9 at 9 a.m. in the Magruder Conference Center, the Magruder Hospital Auxiliary will host a free breakfast program to welcome the newest Auxiliary Members, as well as guests and anyone interested in learning more about the Auxiliary.     

Currently the Auxiliary has over 250 members and the volunteers donate approximately 12,000 hours of service to the hospital each year. Members of the Magruder Auxiliary help with hospital book fairs and uniform sales and volunteer in a variety of capacities throughout the hospital including the Gift Shop. The Magruder Auxiliary also provides healthcare scholarships to local students. No matter the level of interest or experience, the Auxiliary has something to offer everyone.  

Anyone interested in attending the breakfast is asked to RSVP by Thursday, Dec. 5, to Kathy Gallogly at 419-734-3131 ext. 3256.

The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary held their Annual Board Meeting on Monday, Nov. 4, in the Conference Center of Magruder Hospital. Michele Mueller, President of the Auxiliary, presided over the meeting. Board members Kendra German, Vice President; Vanda Wahlers, Treasurer; Barb Connole, Secretary; Marjorie Stys, Press Reporter, and Kathy Tischler, Past President, were also in attendance, along with 65 other Auxiliary members.

Magruder extends Celebrating the Seasons reservation deadline

Magruder Hospital’s Nutrition Department is hosting their “Celebrating the Seasons” Diabetic Event on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Center.  And in order to reach out to as many individuals as possible, they are extending the RSVP deadline to Tuesday, Nov. 5th.  Cost is $8.50 and you can RSVP by paying at the Fulton Street Cafe by the new Nov. 5th deadline.
