| Tea Party group holding 9/11 rally |
| All Patriots are invited to a 9/11 Rally at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Fremont’s Birchard Park bandstand. Andrew Dean will provide patriotic music starting at 9:30 a.m. Thomas Jefferson will be there as portrayed by the Rev. Ken Hammontree from Ashland. The Rev. Gene Weishuhn will address our responsibility to God and country. There will be a report from the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington D.C.

| Supreme Court justice at next Lunch Bunch meeting |
| Ohio Supreme Court Justice Maureen O'Connor will be the speaker at the Ottawa County Fourth Thursday Republican Lunch Bunch at noon Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Port Clinton Elks Club, 231 Buckeye Blvd. All are welcome to attend the $10 buffet; no reservations are necessary.
O'Connor has served on the High Court since January 2003 and is a candidate for Chief Justice of The Ohio Supreme Court in the Nov. 2 General Election. This meeting is an opportunity to meet and listen to candidate and make new friends. |

| American Patriots Against Government Excess, the local TEA Party group, is sponsoring an overnight round trip bus to Glenn Beck’s historic “Restoring Honor Rally” on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Seats are still available to for $70 and will be held for a $20 deposit due by Wednesday, Aug. 4.
