| Volunteers Needed for Garden Tea and Tour |
The Greater Port Clinton Arts Council will host the third annual Garden Tea and Tour on Saturday, July 11. Volunteers are needed to make tea cookies, tea sandwiches and to work the event. Those willing to help work the event get to judge the most unique tea cookie and tea sandwich and do not have to bake or cook. There will be a prize for these categories, plus a prize for the volunteers who help work.

| VFW Holds Ceremony at War Memorial |
The Marblehead Veterans of Foreign Wars, Stanley Jadwisiak Post 7572, commemorated the annual mini reunion of the U.S.S. WASP CV-7 with a solemn ceremony at the War Memorial in the park on Kelleys Island on Saturday June 13. | 4th of July Contest Open to Young Ottawa County Cuties |
This year’s Port Clinton July 4th Celebration will feature a Little Miss or Mr. Firecracker Cutie Contest which is open to any young resident of Ottawa County. The six age groups include: 0-7 months, 8-15 months, 16-23 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years and 6-7 years of age.
The contest will be held July 4th at 6 p.m. at Water Works Park at the skate board park.

| 3rd Annual “Home Sweet Home” Project and Auction Planned |
Morgan Realty Group GMAC Real Estate is sponsoring its 3rd Annual “Home Sweet Home” Project & Auction. Children can pick up their canvases at the office located at 100 S. Jefferson Street Port Clinton. They need to be returned no later than July 15th.
