PORT CLINTON — Howard Hanna Real Estate Service’s Catawba Island office is getting a head start on its fundraising efforts for the Children’s Free Care Fund with the second annual Golf Outing Monday, Aug. 9, at the Catawba Island Club Arthur Hills Championship Golf Course.  
Fees are $110 per golfer. Registration, requested before July 27, includes: 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch and beverages, awards, prizes and a silent auction.
Win a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu donated by Baumann Auto Group or golf cart donated by Drew’s Carts for a hole-in-one on designated holes.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and shot-gun start at 12:30 p.m.
Every year, all 131 offices of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services band together to raise money for the Children’s Free Care Fund in their areas. Most of the company’s offices put on a “Choo Choo Chow Chow” holiday luncheon to raise money, while other offices think outside the box a bit and plan golf outings, wine tastings, jewelry parties or celebrity events. 
In northeast Ohio, proceeds go to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, Akron Children;s Hospital and MetroHealth Miracles and Hope.
