Senior levy campaign kicks off

The Ottawa County Senior Levy Renewal Campaign will officially kick-off at the third annual Pot O’ Gold  Game Day hosted by the Ottawa County Senior Activities Committee. Game day will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, 8180 W. Ohio 163, Oak Harbor.
Seniors and guests are invited to participate in a variety of games of such as cards, dominoes or are welcomed to bring their own games. The highlight of the event will be a Wii Bowling Tournament with a traveling trophy to be awarded to the winning site.

Hot sandwiches and beverages will be provided; seniors are asked to bring a plate of veggies or dessert for sharing. Raffles and door prizes will also be part of the activities. There is no charge for the event but seniors are asked to sign up by contacting the nearest senior center.
Because it is a renewal levy, no new taxes will be requested. Approval will enable the continuation of  programs such as Home Delivered Meals, Senior Home Care, Alzheimer’s Day Care, Senior Centers/dining sites plus many other senior services. For information on game day or any of the senior programs and services offered to Ottawa County Seniors, call Senior Resources at 877-898-6459.
