Ohio enjoys another record year for boat registrations

The number of Ohio boat registrations reached a record high for a fourth consecutive year in 2012, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

The ODNR Division of Watercraft, which oversees the registration and titling of all Ohio recreational watercraft, announced that a record 435,310 boats were registered in 2012, surpassing the previous record of 426,674 reported in 2011.

Abilities shine both on and off the court

This year, statewide, County Boards of Developmental Disabilities will be raising public awareness of the many abilities people have, regardless of disability, abilities such as being a dedicated team player, hard worker and good friend.

EHOVE students lend a helping hand

Community service is important to EHOVE students.  Two groups of EHOVE students have been participating in several activities to raise money for the Special Olympics of Ohio, which provides year round sports training and competition opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.  The students are involved in EHOVE’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter and Teen Leadership Corps.
