“We are very proud of what these girls have accomplished this season,” said Coach Bob Black. “Four juniors, two sophomores, and one freshman, all who have the talent to significantly improve next season. They certainly have a bright future.”
“We are also very proud of our boys, who started the season 0-7 and made a great comeback to bowl as good as we thought they could,” said Black. “Darryl Trent and Dave Wilburn have been solid all year, and Andy Batterton really improved and was a big contributor the last part of the season.”
Other team members who will compete in the OHSAA NW District Tournament for the eighth consecutive season at 3 p.m. Saturday are Jacob Reed, Kordell Blankenship, Cameron Bice and Caleb Conrad.
