Holding a 10-point lead at halftime, the Oak Harbor Rockets saw their lead dwindle to five before taking control in the fourth quarter, defeating Edison, 53-40, on Saturday.
The win puts Oak Harbor at 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the Sandusky Bay Conference. The Rockets led 14-5 after the first quarter and 28-18 at halftime before the Chargers made a run in the third period.
Andrea Cecil led the way with 28 points, 11 of them coming at the free-throw line. Freshman center Maddy Rathbun chipped in with 10 points and Amanda Hetrick and Emma Bergman finished with four points apiece.
Edison got 13 points from Tiggy Sanabria and seven from Liz Hill.
The Rockets, who played St. Joseph CC on Tuesday, travel to Huron to face the Tigers on Saturday.
