Behind 15 points from Emily Ashley, the Port Clinton Redskins won their second straight game, defeating Lake, 47-34, in non-conference action on Monday.
Port Clinton (10-3) was in control for much of the game, outscoring the Flyers, 13-7, in the first quarter and allowed just two points in the second period.
In addition to Ashley’s 15 points, Hannah Weaver and Hope Thorbahn finished with 11 points apiece and Tiffany Colston scored five points.
Port Clinton 47, Margaretta 21
Emily Ashley led her team in scoring again, this time finishing with 13 points as the Redskins dominated Margaretta, winning, 47-21, in Sandusky Bay Conference action last week.
Port Clinton, which improved to 6-2 in the league with the victory, got 10 points from Hannah Weaver and nine from Bethany Urban. Hope Thorbahn finished with eight points and nine rebounds and Tiffany Colston contributed seven rebounds.
