The Port Clinton High School Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the Class of 2012 Inductees. David Bodie (1990), Cal Colson (1958), Jessica Drusbacky (2000) and Fred Entenmann (1993) will join the ranks of PCHS athletes inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame Banquet will be at 5 p.m. May 19, at the Port Clinton Elks Lodge. Ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
Bodie is a record-holding swimmer for PCHS. He continued swimming at Denison University, receiving Division III All-American Honors and swam in several NCAA Division III National Meets. Bodie continues to contribute to his alma mater as the team physician for the Redskin Football Team.
Cal Colston is a true friend to the Port Clinton City Schools and Redskin athletic programs. Not only was he a longtime Athletic Booster trustee, but was a leader in the school district by serving on the Board of Education. He played a major role in the 1988 renovation of the stadium to include a new locker room, concession stand, all-weather track and the creation of PCTV.
Jessica Drusbacky is one of the best female swimmers in the history of PCHS. She was one of the dominant female swimmers in the area, team captain, team leader and record-holder in several events. She continued swimming at the college level at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Fred Entenmann was part of the SBC Championship and Sectional Championship Redskin Basketball Team in 1992-1993. He was the team MVP and SBC Player of the Year. He excelled at the collegiate level while playing at Division I, Stetson University, where he was a four-year letter winner and leading scorer his senior year.
