Facing one of northwest Ohio’s best teams, the Danbury Lakers fell, 79-32, to Toledo Christian last week.
The Eagles controlled things from the beginning, taking a 26-4 lead after one quarter before pushing the lead to 46-9 at the half.
Melvin Thomas had a game-high 18 points to lead TC, and Eric Cellier chipped in with 17.
Dylan Buckley led the Lakers with 10 points.
The Lakers finish the regular season with road games against Margaretta and Ottawa Hills. Danbury begins play in the Div. IV Sectional Tournament when it faces the winner of St. Paul-South Central game on Mar. 1 at 8 p.m. at Norwalk High School.
