Port Clinton girls defeat Perkins

Port Clinton 52, Perkins 42

Trailing 19-9 midway thru the second quarter, the Port Clinton Lady 'Skins mounted a furious rally against Perkins, outscoring the Pirates, 43-23, the rest of the way to claim victory, 52-42.
Down 19-9, the 'Skins went on a 10-0 run, tying the game on a three-point play by junior forward Tiffany Colston early in the third quarter.
Colston gave the 'Skins the lead for good at 26-24 on a three-pointer midway thru the fourth quarter. From that point, Port Clinton outscored Perkins, 26-18, the rest of way.
Colston led the way, finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, both game highs, and Hope Thorbahn contributed 12 points and five boards. Colston also did a fine job defensively, holding Perkins forward Shannon Ebert in check, and limited her to 10 points.
