Frank Moravcik and his great polka band have been helping the VFW Post 7572 Ladies Auxiliary Fight for the Cure since 2000. Ohio District 9 Post 7572 President Debbie Garrard and members of the Ladies Auxiliary are dedicated to the cancer program. The third Saturday of August with Frank’s music and dancing is a fun way to fight for the cure.
Mike Pritchard and lovely ladies Alice Peroni, Mary Goebel, Carol Hamit, Camille Sobolewski, Lilah Groene, Betty Voisard, Vickie Kozak, Sierra Puckett, Darlene Novak, Karen Dalenburg, and greeter Jean Dewey worked much longer than they danced.
Special thanks to Commander Bob Peroni, to members Roxy and Chris, Wanda and Bill Marzetti, Terry Rahner, Dave Groene, Frank Zalar, Tracey and Tom Johns, Terry and Mary Glovinsky, Bob Sobolewski, Duane Goebel, Wally Matthews, Past Commander Dan and Mary Ann Monak for their support.
Special thank you to Frank Moravcik, Brian Papesh, John Antoniak, and to lovely Linda Hoschvar playing the button box. Your music, the music we grew up loving, is deeply appreciated and your talents are a true blessing in your lives.
Thank you to all who came for the music, food and fun; and your helpful monetary gifts. So many women have suffered from the “Pink” cancer, including this writer. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Program has truly been helpful, I know. Help is also on a summer Saturday afternoon in August.
God love Frank, Linda, Brian, John and all who were there at our Post on August 11, to help us continue our fight for the cure. Thank you.
