The Port Clinton Friends of the Cemetery want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who responded to our yearly fundraising letter. Also, many thanks to the Ottawa County Community Foundation and the Stenson Fund for again finding us worthy to receive grant monies.
Special thanks to Cuevas Construction for the beautiful job on the curbs at the entrance of Riverview Cemetery. Thank you to the city workers for your logistical thinking and placement of the trash receptacle bases throughout both cemeteries. The actual trash receptacles should be in place by year end. Thank you Elaine Heise and Port Clinton Glass for your contributions and help with issues at the mausoleum.
Thank you John Kozlok for planting all the flowers in the many empty urns at Lakeview Cemetery and for keeping them watered during a very dry summer. Also special thanks to John Kozlok and Dave McDougall who quietly go about taking care of the many veterans graves within our cemeteries. This is a never ending job but very much appreciated.
Thank you Mr. Peters of Peters Aluminum for a fine job of installing new gutters at the mausoleum and to Mr. Tom Oberle of Seaway Building Services for overseeing the painting of the inside of the mausoleum.
And finally I want to extend a very special thank you to Elva Cortez, Joan Hurrell, Sandra Koch, Mary Mills and Maria Moon who are the backbone members of the Friends of the Cemetery and never waiver in their dedication to the betterment of our cemeteries by always going the extra mile to get things done.
With much gratitude,
President, Port Clinton Friends of the Cemetery
