The last several months have been full of fun for the second graders of Immaculate Conception School. Mrs. Penny Boyd’s second grade class celebrated 100 days of school by stringing together, in groups of 10, one hundred pieces of cereal that they then wore as colorful necklaces. They also wore 100 day stickers and made drawings of themselves and what they felt they would look like in 100 years. In addition, a student won a prize every 10 minutes throughout the day, and for every 100th minute the student won two prizes.

Registration and Screening for kindergarten students for the 2013-14 school year will be held on June 10th & June 11th at the Woodmore Elementary School, 708 W. Main Street in Woodville, Ohio. A child who is five (5) years of age on or before August 1, 2013 is eligible to enter kindergarten this coming school year.

Parents are asked to call the school office at 419-862-1070 (Ext. 203) starting March 18th – May 17th between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to make an appointment. Registration and Screening will be done by appointment only, and the process will take between 60 and 90 minutes.

Mr. Benjamin Cadigan reported for duty on Wednesday, March 20, wide-eyed and ready to take charge.  Ben was “Principal for a Day” at Immaculate Conception School.

Together in Education will be awarding two $500 scholarships to seniors graduating from the Oak Harbor High School who attended grade school at Carroll, Graytown, RC Waters or Rocky Ridge Elementary Schools.  Applications are available from the Oak Harbor High School Guidance Office.  The deadline for applications to be returned to RC Waters Elementary is Thursday, April 18.
