Port Clinton Middle School Builders Club sponsored a food drive and collected 366 items for the local food pantry. PCMS Fleets (grade levels) had a competition to receive spirit points based on the number of items they brought in: Fleet 6-122, Fleet 7- 58 and Fleet 8- 104. An anonymous donor contributed another 88 items. PCMS Builders Club is sponsored by the local Port Clinton Kiwanis Club.
Port Clinton High School recently announced the Student of the Month for November is Christian Cash.
Socrates visited Port Clinton Middle School on Friday, Nov.30. Apparently, he’s a good friend of Mr. Kyle Kunard, PCMS Science teacher.
Mrs. Penny Boyd’s 2nd grade class and Mrs. Jane Drusbacky’s 5th grade class from Immaculate Conception School were treated to a pizza party to by the Ida Rupp Public Library recently. The classes won the library’s Buckeye Book Contest by reading the most books nominated for this award.
East Harbor Montessori is offering parents two opportunities this holiday season to finish up shopping while their kids have some fun. Children aged two and older can come to the center on two Saturdays this month to work on a variety of Christmas themed arts and crafts, sing Christmas carols and sip hot chocolate together.
