On Tuesday, August 26, DECA members were the district highlight at the B-C-S Board of Education meeting. An overview of the program was presented to the board members. The program allows students to learn about business and marketing by experiencing business in action through participating in a variety of “real world” activities, classroom instruction, co-op experience, and the student organization, DECA. Students in the program earn credits from Owens Community College in addition to Oak Harbor High School through dual-enrollment.
