Immaculate Conception School says "Thank you" this Thanksgiving.

The blessings are abundant at Immaculate Conception School in Port Clinton and the students and staff have spent the week of Thanksgiving reflecting on their gifts. Immaculate Conception Preschool made butter and cornbread on Monday and Tuesday. The 3 and 4 year olds took turns shaking the butter and making the bread. It was a feast fit for Pilgrims and Indians. The classes also made turkey hats to wear for the day.

The first graders made Indian Charm bags in their art classes for Thanksgiving. The bags were inspired by the Lakota- Sioux Indians. Using Indian symbols, each bag has a message that pertains to life as a Native American. The charm bags brightly decorate the schools entrance showcase. Immaculate Conception is truly grateful for the gifts they receive each and every day.
