Port Clinton DECA successful at first competition Featured

 

Port Clinton High School DECA recently traveled to the University of Findlay for the DECA Independent Association Competition. The following PCHS students placed in their respective events.

Public Relations: 2nd – Claire Zielinski; 3rd – Madi Baxter; 4th – Dylan Spears; 5th – Kennedy Gulas.  
Job Interview:  2nd – Eryn Nason (White Division); 2nd -  Nathan Haghiri (Blue Division); 3rd – Tarrynn Edgefield; 5th – Ashley Gill.
Employability/DECA Human Relations Test:  6th – Alexis Cash.
Parliamentary Law:  9th – Jacob Reed; 13th – Tricia Peroni

Team Management Events

Business Services:  3rd – Cole Araguz, Toni Jones & Alec Ochs.  
Buying & Merchandising: 6th – Kayla Armendariz & Nicole Rogers.
Hospitality Services:  5th – Libby Showalter & Lauren Wheeler.
Sports & Entertainment: 5th - Cal Laurel, Dokate Cromley & John Morton.  
Travel & Tourism:  3rd – Ashlynn Slauterbeck & Lisa Niceswanger.
