Father John Missler processes into the church during the school’s annual "VIP Day" Mass which honors those that stand beside us through life.
The hallways were a buzz on Friday, Sept. 27 at Immaculate Conception School as many V.I.P.s arrived. The day was set aside as the school’s annual “V.I.P. Day” . V.I.Ps at ICS are honored guests of the students who were invited and recognized for the love and support they give throughout the school year. V.I.Ps are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and special friends.
Approximately 150 people attended the event that allowed the children to thank those special people in their lives for helping them grow and learn. The day’s festivities began with Mass celebrated by Father John Missler at 9:30 a.m. Father John reminded the students to thank Jesus for the special people in their lives that back them up every single day. The children then took their families on a tour of the school. V.I.P.s and students then had lunch together in the cafeteria. The day was topped off with ice cream and many hugs of appreciation. The children of Immaculate Conception realize that they are truly blessed to have so many important people in their lives.
