PCHS boys tennis team defeats Sandusky St. Mary

Port Clinton Boys tennis took on Sandusky St. Mary Tuesday at Battery Park in Sandusky.  The Redskins improved their record to 6 - 1 and 3-0 in the SBC

with a 5 - 0 victory over the Panthers.

 Coach Aaron Taylor’s summary: “Matheus played quite well today for a nice victory over Dario.  Noah came out and went to his strengths early to win quickly against Collen.  Leandro made his singles debut and played an excellent match against Frank.  Matt and Jeff teamed battled back from 2 - 5 in the first set to win a back and forth close match with Carlo and Taylor.  Max and Ryan debuted as a team today and played a nice match to take down Carson and Clay.  In JV action Ellis Adolph and Tristan Auxter won 8 - 2.  Avery Dackermann and Cameron King went up against St. Mary's #2 and #3 singles players and lost a tight match 9 - 7.  Steven Kast and Joseph Miller took on St. Mary's Varsity 2nd Doubles team and lost a tough match 8 - 1.”
