Registration for the 2013-14 school year for Port Clinton High School will soon begin. Several events will assist students and their parents/guardians as they register for classes.
The 2013-14 Course Registration Guides and Planners will be distributed to current high school students during class meetings on Wednesday, Jan. 23, with course registration beginning Jan.28 for PCHS students in grades 9-11.
Several meetings have been planned to assist current grade 8 student and parents prepare for their freshman year of high school. On Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m.in the PCHS Performing Arts Center there will be a Grade 8 Parent Information Meeting. At that time, PCHS staff will discuss course selection for the Freshmen Year and explain the 4-year high school plan.
Grade 8 students will receive their PCHS Course Registration Guide during an information meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 8 am in the PCHS Performing Arts Center. They will register for their Freshmen year courses on Tuesday, Feb.12, beginning at 8:15 a.m. at the Middle School. Registration forms should be signed and returned to the PCMS Guidance office by Friday, Feb.15.
The 2013-14 PCHS Registration Guide can also be accessed at the school district website at www.pccsd.net in the near future. Parents may contact Rick Dominick, Grades 9 and 10 Guidance Counselor, at 734-2147.
