EHOVE students are often involved in community service throughout the year.  On Dec. 5 EHOVE students organized a bloodmobile event and donated their blood to the American Red Cross, totaling 120 pints.

Industrial Tech student Brandon Garza (Huron HS) waited in line to donate blood and support the American Red Cross.  “It’s a good thing to donate blood,” said Garza.  “A pint of blood can save three lives.  It’s very important to help people out.”
Health Careers student Preston Grizzel (Western Reserve HS) was impressed that you can track your own blood.  “I thought it was very cool to track your own blood and see what research can be done with it,” said Grizzell.  “It’s fantastic to also help save a life.”
EHOVE Career Center is a career tech school in Milan Township.  This high school and adult education facility draws students from a variety of locales, and serves multiple school districts in Erie, Huron and Ottawa Counties.
