Surgical Technologist Graduation

Graduates include:  Amanda Wiparina (Bucyrus), Liane Hersh (Norwalk), Tia England (Bellevue), Brittany Adkins (Port Clinton) and Julie Baker (Wakeman).  All five students passed their certification exam and are now Certified Surgical Technologists.

EHOVE’s Summer Camp

Kids in grades 5-9 are invited to participate in EHOVE’s summer camps.  Programs include LEGO robotics, inventing, engineering, culinary arts, athletic speed and performance, duct tape design, design/fab/build/fly and video gaming. The camp is a week-long with half day session full of hands-on projects.

Camps run 8:30-11:30 a.m. for the morning session and 12:15-3:15 p.m. for the afternoon session, Monday-Friday for the week of June 16-20.  Campers may attend the morning and/or afternoon session.  Cost is $50 per camp session. 

Online registration starts April 30 at www.EHOVE.net.  Registrations may also be mailed using the form in the camp brochure that was sent home with area students, but please note that these camps fill quickly and space will immediately be reserved by registering online.

Police Academy Graduates

EHOVE Adult Career Center congratulates Police Academy graduates. Captain Mike Conney from Norwalk Police Department was the instructor speaker at the graduation ceremony. 

Students in the EHOVE program learn the skills they need to become certified as a basic Police Officer in the State of Ohio.  They learn about and utilize firearms, defensive tactics, driving techniques, traffic enforcement and more.
