The Toledo Symphony Brass Quintet fills Meadowbrook Marsh with music

The nature walk lead by guides at the Black Swamp Conservancy

Toledo Symphony Brass Quintet entertaining the crowd

In continuation with the Simple Gifts: Celebrating our Musical and Natural Roots project, the Toledo Symphony Brass Quintet performed at Meadowbrook Marsh in Marblehead Sunday Sep. 8, at 2 p.m. Before the performance, there was a guided nature walk by the Black Swamp Conservancy. The walk started at 1 p.m. and ended at 2 p.m. with the start of the Brass Quintet. During the walk guides educated guests about plants, birds and butterfly species that were found along the path at Meadowbrook Marsh.

At the end of the trail the guides led the guests to the awaiting Brass Quintet. Blankets and chairs filled in the lawn as the quintet played in the beautiful, serene surroundings of Meadowbrook Marsh.
