“Be Your Best” at Trinity United Methodist Women’s Retreat
“Be Your Best” is the theme of the Women’s Retreat at Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Port Clinton on Feb. 1 from 6-9 p.m. and Feb. 2 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. There will be a variety of speakers, activities, fellowship and food for women of all ages to share. The retreat is $25 for both days and includes dinner, breakfast and lunch. The cost for one day is $12.50.
Registration will be at 6 p.m. Friday, followed by dinner. Emily Conboy will then speak on “Successful Aging” and Joan Washburn will talk on “The Playing Field of Life”.
On Saturday, after a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., Jeanette Crone will lead a craft project, making sundresses for young girls in Africa, and speak on “Helping Others Helps Ourselves”. Participants are asked to bring a yard of cotton print fabric.
At 10:30 Dr. Margy VanLerberghe will talk on “The Power of Forgiveness”, followed by “Keep Moving” yoga with Donna Lueke.
After lunch the Reverend Jeanne Gay will conclude the retreat with “Spirit-Filled Living” and devotions.
