Plans are under way for the fourth annual “Swing into Spring” Craft & Home Show at Riverview HealthCare
Campus at 8180 W. Ohio 163, Oak Harbor.  Crafters from three counties will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 24 with
Easter decorative items, hand-woven rugs, jewelry, clothing items, Wooden lawn cut-outs, Reborn babies,
Scentsy, Pampered Chef, hair tinsel and decorations, computer items, hand-painted glass, baked goods, homemade candies and chocolates, beads and bracelets, flowered wreaths, embroidered
bags, throws, Ohio State and Michigan items and Miche bags.

Duck Pluck at the Walleye Festival

The second annual Duck Pluck will be held on Monday, May 28, at Main Street Port Clinton’s 32nd anniversary of the Walleye Festival. Five hundred rubber ducks will be dipping, diving and drifting in a hot tub all weekend long enjoying music in the entertainment tent.

Walleye Festival ride tickets for sale

Advance ride tickets for the 2012 Main Street Port Clinton Walleye Festival are now available. Each ticket is $35 and good for the entire Walleye Festival weekend. The Walleye Festival will run from Thursday, May 24, to Monday, May 28, at Waterworks Park. Quantities are limited so please buy them early.  Each Advance Ride Ticket enters you to win an iPod. Two iPods will be given away.

Happy birthday Dr. Seuss

Ida Rupp Public Library is planning a celebration of beloved author Dr. Seuss.
Dr. Seuss’s birthday is March 2. During the week of Feb. 27 through March 2, sign up for a drawing for free Dr. Seuss books. Come in Friday, March 2, to the children’s area and receive a Dr. Seuss tattoo.
