Barbershop Quartet “Recycled” performs at Ida Rupp Library

Stombaugh, Engler, Williams and Carlo of Recycled

Thursday, Aug. 29, the barbershop quartet Recycled performed at the Ida Rupp Public Library. Spectators formed a circle in the front of the library and more people gathered after being drawn by the music. Quartet members Ted Stombaugh, tenor, from Findlay; Lou Engler, lead, from Port Clinton; Ted Williams, bass, from Belleview; and Maury Carlo, baritone, from Fremont all meet and practice in Fostoria. Engler said they decided to call themselves Recycled because they have all been in other quartets. The senior barbershop four sing in contests and at events.
