Smooth jazz instrumental artist David Wells will be performing Feb. 10 at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Road, Port Clinton.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m.
Wells, a gifted flugelhorn / trumpet player from a small town in West Virginia, made his professional debut at the age of thirteen. Heavily influenced by Louie Armstrong, Herb Alpert, and The Tijuana Brass, Wells evolved into an instrumental soloist with the capability of reaching his audiences on an intimate level.
Wells just released his 13th CD, “No Side Effects”. As of January, his new single “Never Giving Up” was in the top 20 on the National Billboard chards, the #1 most added single across the country, and #1 single with most plays. Wells’ CD “Friday Afternoon” was on the entry ballot for 51st Grammy “Best Pop Instrumental” Album.
Wells has a national syndicated radio show and a 24/7 internet radio station, www.chocolatejazzradio.com. His website is www.davidwellsonline.com.
