Heroes Behind the Badge movie screening November 29

Heroes Behind the Badge is a documentary film featuring some of the men and women of law enforcement who put their lives on the line and survived, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.


This documentary will highlight the acts of bravery they commit each day in the line of duty. Its stories are powerful, emotional, insightful and educational.
A special movie screening will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, 821 S. Jefferson Street, Port Clinton. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at Port Clinton Police Department at 1868 E. Perry Street, at Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, 110 Madison Street and at Perfect Color Hair & Tan, 90 N. Madison Street , and online at www.heroesbehindthebadgeportclinton.eventbrite.com .
The cost of each ticket is $15 presale and $20 at the door. All proceeds from tickets sales will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Ohio COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors).
Following the movie screening there will be a question and answer session with producer Bill Erfurth and a few words from Kelly Terry-Willis, surviving sister of Border Agent Brian Terry, killed in the line of duty in 2010.
