Jeff and John Lizzi, or Jeff/John as the identical twins are often known, have purchased the former Harbor Lanes on Buckeye Boulevard in Port Clinton. Along with manager Kevin Frantz, the team brings energy, experience and vision to what will now be known as Star Lanes at The Harbor.
Jeff and John’s grandmother built Star Lanes in Sandusky and it has been operated by their family ever since. The Lizzis’ plans are to first work on the mechanical aspects, upgrading the lanes, pinsetters and machinery, and making sure it meets their standards of cleanliness, “following in our grandmother’s footsteps.” Those footsteps include disinfecting shoes after each use and other high standards of cleanliness.
