Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) was awarded the Guardian of Small Business Award by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
“I am honored to be a recipient of NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business Award. It is critical we listen to our small business owners as they have been this nation’s job creators, generating 64 percent of all new jobs in the past 15 years. Entrepreneurs and small business owners have toiled and built their businesses, helping to make America one of the most prosperous nations in the world,” said Congressman Latta.
Latta received the award for supporting policies during the 112th Congress that will help small businesses expand and create jobs.
“In the 112th Congress, Representative Bob Latta proved that he is a champion of small business. The Guardian of Small Business Award is a legislative award given to U.S. Representatives and Senators who vote to promote and protect the right of small business owners to own, operate and grow their businesses,” said NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner.
NFIB is small business association with approximately 350,000 members and with chapters throughout the United States, including a chapter in Ohio.
