The Bowling Green Graduate Student Brass Quintet will be entertaining guests at Otterbein North Shore auxiliary’s annual dinner on Friday, November 1. The event begins at 6:00 pm and is open to the public. The $12 cost of the dinner will be prepared by the Otterbein dietary staff, who just received the 2013 Award of Merit for Full Menu Food Service Operations from the Ottawa County Health Department. This is an outstanding accomplishment, because they were chosen out of all full menu restaurants and kitchen operations in Ottawa County to receive this distinguished award. Reservations can be made by calling 269-358-0111 or 419-798-8203.
The auxiliary raises money through their Gifts from the Heart gift shop on the Otterbein campus. Its members include Otterbein residents and community volunteers who work in the shop. The shop is open daily from 11 am until 3 pm and for special events. This year they will also be selling fresh Christmas wreaths. Orders must be placed by November 4. For more information about ordering wreaths or about the auxiliary, contact President Betty Schrock at 269-358-0111.
