Sara Horne from the West End Conestoga Group of United Way has rounded up Mayor Vincent Leone, Police Chief Hickman and Lee Horne to walk the West Third, McKinley and Michigan streets to deliver toys on December 23.

Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary was transporting Butterscotch, a German Short haired pointer. She made a four hour trip while in labor and was supposed to be boarded at Oak Harbor Pet Haven. Instead Butterscotch’s first puppy was born two hours after arriving at ISHAS.
