“Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice and Survival” screening Feb. 7

A special screening of “Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice and Survival”, the follow up film to the documentary, “Heroes Behind the Badge” will be shown in on Friday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Port Clinton High School.  This film features the stories of the fallen and also focuses on the stories of those who have been critically injured in the line of duty and have survived.  This documentary educates and highlights the unselfish acts of bravery the men and women of law enforcement commit each day on the job.   Thanks to a partnership with the NLEOMF, active duty police officers, retired officers and family members of the fallen, audiences canl experience what it’s really like to walk the thin blue line.

The net proceeds from this special screening will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Fund, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #79 and Fraternal Order of Police Associates Lodge #34. This screening in Port Clinton is part of the “Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice and Survival” national tour of special screenings.
