Edgewood Manor hosts Trick or Treat

Super heroes, fairy princesses, goblins, skeletons, clowns, witches, pirates, vampires and a variety of other creatures descended upon Edgewood as the afternoon’s festivities began.  Residents sat in their doorways holding pumpkin buckets overflowing with candy as trick or treaters went up and down the halls gathering their bounty.  As the costumed characters passed by each person, two or three special goodies were dropped into their containers.  Excitement flowed from the children as they filled their bags while the residents smiled with delight at each little one’s outfit.

Edgewood Manor Nursing Center to host Trick or Treat

Edgewood Manor Nursing Center will be hosting Trick or Treat for area children 10 and under on Saturday , Oct. 26, at  2 p.m.   The event will be rain or shine.  A panel of judges will award prizes for the top 3 costumes.   There will be cider and donuts for all.   Edgewood Manor is located at 1330 S. Fulton Street, Port Clinton.

Edgewood Manor hosts therapy reunion

Edgewood Manor Therapy Team with Homeward Bound Therapy graduates.

The Rehabilitation Team at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center recently hosted a Rehab Reunion to celebrate National Rehabilitation Awareness Week. The event began with a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Andrew Ward followed by a talk from Barbara Limpert of Port Clinton about her physical and occupational therapy experiences. Mrs. Limpert stated, “I have never been to a place that is so positive. No matter what the situation they are always upbeat.”  Mrs. Limpert continued by saying, “I realized once I got home I still needed to work on some things so I continue to come to Edgewood for outpatient therapy.”
