Summer Fun at Port Clinton City Schools

The last day of school for Port Clinton City School District students is June 5.  Even though students will no longer be in the classroom there are numerous summer activities taking place in the district. All the following camp forms can be found on the district website pccsd.net under the Bulletin Board.

Champions for Children will once again be offering their popular Summer Enrichment Camps.  There are ten, one-week sessions beginning on June 9 and ending on August 15.  The summer program offers child care from 7:30 a.m. in the morning until 3 p.m. in the afternoon with after camp care available until 6 p.m.  Participants will enjoy a wide-range of activities and interesting camp themes.  All this at an affordable rate provided by an award-winning program!  Call Jackie Warnicke for more information at 419-734-2815, ext 1112 or download the Reservation Form at pccsd.net.

EHOVE’s Summer Camp

Kids in grades 5-9 are invited to participate in EHOVE’s summer camps.  Programs include LEGO robotics, inventing, engineering, culinary arts, athletic speed and performance, duct tape design, design/fab/build/fly and video gaming. The camp is a week-long with half day session full of hands-on projects.

Camps run 8:30-11:30 a.m. for the morning session and 12:15-3:15 p.m. for the afternoon session, Monday-Friday for the week of June 16-20.  Campers may attend the morning and/or afternoon session.  Cost is $50 per camp session. 

Online registration starts April 30 at www.EHOVE.net.  Registrations may also be mailed using the form in the camp brochure that was sent home with area students, but please note that these camps fill quickly and space will immediately be reserved by registering online.

B-C-S Community Education 2013 Summer Camps

B-C-S Community Education invites families with children in kindergarten through 7th grade to enroll in the 2013 Summer Camps. Pre-registration has begun for the 2013 Summer Camps and must be returned by April 15th. Weekly camps will begin on Monday, June 3rd at R. C. Waters Elementary School. Camp times will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.. 

There will be 11 weeks of thematic camps beginning with an Animal Week starting Monday, June 3rd. The camps following in succession will be: Fitness, Weather, Gardening, Patriotic, Mystery Solving, Winter in July, Healthy Choices and Beach Week that will all be held at R. C. Waters Elementary. Week 10 and 11 are Creepy Critters and End of Summer Celebration that will be held at Oak Harbor Middle School. 

B-C-S Community Education offers a variety of enrollment options. Families may register for all camps offered or select individual weekly camps. The 2013 Summer Camp Fees schedule is: 

2013 Summer Camp Registration Fee-$25/per child 

Before Camp Care-6:30-9:00 AM-$30/per week 

Summer Themed Camps-9:00 AM-3:00 PM-$110/per week 

After Camp Care-3:00-6:00 PM-$45/per week 

Before Care or After Care with Summer Themed Camps-$135/per week 

Before Care and After Care with Summer Themed Camps-$175/per week 

Weekly Camp will also include special guests, cooking projects, water games, walking field trips, swimming and more. B-C-S Community Education reserves the right to cancel any camp that does not meet required minimum enrollment by April 15th.
